This Token Came From – John J. Adams Brushes Store
This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-181.
The obverse text reads “All Kinds of Brushes Made to Order, Office in Boston, No. 12 Elm St. Cash for Bristles.” and the reverse text reads “John J. Adams No. 11 Main St. Taunton Mass. Manufacturer of Every Description of Brushes, Wholesale & Retail.” The obverse of the token shows a wild boar in the center that is running towards the left and surrounded by text, and the reverse shows text in a circular pattern.
