This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-104.

The obverse text reads “Benedict & Burnham, Waterbury Conn, 1837, E Pluribus Unum” and the reverse text reads “Manufacturers of Every Description of Gilt Buttons. Sheet & Platers Brass & C.” The obverse of the token shows a bald eagle in the center looking left, and the reverse is just text.
