This Central New York Agricultural, Horticultural, and Mechanical Association medal was struck at the Mint in 1874. The obverse features a pair of crossed rose stems surrounded by the legend which reads, “CENTRAL NEW YORK AGRICULTURAL, HORT & MECHL ASSOCIATION; FOUNDED 1873.” The reverse displays an open, ornate wreath topped by an arm holding a hammer. The legend at the top merely reads, “AWARDED TO” with space for engraving.
