This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-268.
The obverse text reads “1837” and the reverse text reads “Feuchtwanger’s Composition One Cent.” The obverse of the token shows the new bald eagle, only her is facing the right instead of the left, and the reverse has a wreath surrounding text.
