This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-269.
The obverse text reads “W. Field 148 Chatham Corner of Mulberry St. New-York” and the reverse text reads “Manufacturer of Hats Caps & Fancy Furs.” The obverse of the token has a top hat surrounded by text, and the reverse shows an illustration of a Beaver.
