The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Continental Currency Fugio Mind Your Business 1776 and the reverse text is American Congress We Are One, Massach’s, N. Hamp’s, Georgia, S. Carol’a, N. Carol’a, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylv’a, N. Jersey, N. York, R. Island, Connect’t. The front side of the coin shows a thick planchets version of the continental dollar with the sun and sun dial in the center, the sun has a face as well and is surrounded by two lines of text and a date at the bottom of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts linked circle chains surrounding the inner circle emitting rays from it, three lines of text in the center and a beaded border surround the design.
