This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-624a

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Christopher Columbus 1492 1892 and the reverse text is Quadri-Centennial of Discovery of America Celebrated at Bridgeport, Conn. The Santa Maria October 21, 1892. The front side of the coin shows a bearded bust of Christopher Columbus in the center with his name directly surrounding his head and dates to either side of his shoulders, a wreath on the outer edge completes the design of the dollar. The backside of the coin depicts a ship in the center with water below, text falls below the water and is surrounded by arching text in two lines above, and one line below.
