The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads General George Washington and the reverse text is Washington Monument Allegheny Park, PA Dedicated Feb. 23 1891. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Washington shown from the shoulders up, naked as shown and facing the right side of the medal, text around the outside border of the coin with a star below. The backside of the coin depicts a monument with a horse and rider on top, the rider of that horse is President George Washington and he is surrounded by a double line of text.
