Value of 1893-S $20 Double Eagle
This sharply struck issue displays excellent luster in high grades, although liberally abraded surfaces are prevalent among survivors. The 1893-S double eagle is similar in both overall and high grade rarity to the 1893-S with circulated and lower grade Mint State coins readily obtainable. MS-64 coins are scarcer, yet can also be acquired with relative ease. Anything finer is very rare. The finest certified are two MS-65s at PCGS.
