Value of 1746 Annapolis Tuesday Club Medal

The Annapolis Tuesday Club was in existence from 1740 through 1780 and is celebrated with this medal. Obverse displays two hands clasped, encircled by a heart. The legend reads, “By harmony small things increase” and “The Tuesday Club, in Annapolis, Maryland, May 14, 1746”. The reverse displays a naked boy holding a staff topped by a liberty cap as he sits in the grass next to an altar, which is inscribed, “Liberty and native land”. The reverse legend states, “Charles Cole, Esquire, President”.
