The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Gale Library Building, Northboro Massachusetts Incorporated Jan 24, 1766 and the reverse text is 1916 150th Anniversary Town of Northboro Mass. W & H Co, Newark N.J. The front side of the coin shows the Library in the center of the coin shown from the front right perspective with clouds above and text surrounding in the thick outer border. The backside of the coin depicts three lines of text in the center of the medal with a branch at the bottom and a torch and banner at the top, the dates appear on the banner with branches in the background.
