This Token Came From – Hartford, Connecticut

The obverse text on the token reads “Robert Fulton Born 1765 Died 1818.” The reverse text on this token reads “Steam Navigation Was First Established In The United States Alfred S. Robinsons Historical Series No 2.” The obverse depicts a bust of Robert Fulton in the center facing the left. The reverse of the token shows a steamship in the center with a wreath around the outside border and several lines of flowing text.
