The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads 1776 Independence Hall Commenced 1729 Finished 1734 1876 and the reverse text is Proclaim Liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof, Liberty Bell 1776 1876, Lev. XXV. VX.. The front side of the coin shows a profile view of Independence Hall with dates to the sides and text above. The dates that construct began and finished are on the bottom with a hole for hanging on the top. The backside of the coin depicts the bell in the center with two dates and text surrounding.
