This Token Came From – Henderson & Gaines Kitchen and Household Goods Store

This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-119.

The obverse text reads “Henderson & Gaines, New Orleans, Importers of & Dealers In China, Glass, & Earthen Wares. 14 Canal Street” and the reverse text reads “Japan and Britannia Wares, Plated Castors, and Cordial Stands, Lamps, Looking Glasses & C. & C.” The obverse of the token has text with one star on the top half and one star on the bottom half, and the reverse is all text.
