The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Connecticut Qui Vranstulit Sustinet and the reverse text is 250th Anniversary of the founding of Norwalk Conn. Sep 8-12 1901. The front side of the coin shows the state seal of Connecticut in the center with three trees and a ribbon below, text arching above and 13 stars surrounding the lower border of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts six lines of arched text in the center with a beaded border around the design.
