The obverse of the token reads, “W.P. Emmert hardwood Stoves, Iron & Tin Ware Freeport. Ills” and the reverse of the token reads “Our Guard.” The obverse of the coin shows five lines of text with a reeded edge. The reverse of the token displays a wreath with the text in the center.
