The obverse of the token reads, “Liberty 1863” and the reverse of the token reads “Hiatt & Showalter Dry Goods Groceries & C. Cadiz, Ind.”The obverse shows the Indian from the Indian cent facing left and surrounded by stars and text. The reverse depicts several lines of text with two sets of small lines pointing diagonally upwards.
