Value of M.D. Stevens Token

The obverse of the token reads, “M.D. Stevers Grain Dealer Woodstock, Ill” and the reverse of the token reads “1863.”The obverse shows four total lines of text, two of which are in a circular orientation with the other two horizontal and two diamonds in the center. The reverse depicts an eagle in the center with spread wings and a shield on its chest with the head facing right.
