The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads We Though of a better way, Lord Kelvin, Kelvinator, Silver Anniversary and the reverse text is The Oldest Manufacturer of Electric Refrigeration for the Home 1914-1939 Kelvinator, Silver Anniversary. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a man facing the right, Lord Kelvin, with a star to either side of his bust and text surrounding, three lines of text directly below his head. The backside of the coin depicts a wreath and ribbon in the center with text held within, a large border to the outside edge with text inside of it.
