The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Souvenir of Hawaii The 49th State and the reverse text is Lolani Palace Capitol bldg, Hula Girl, Aloha Tower, Surf Riding Waikki. The front side of the coin shows a statue in the center holding his hand in the air and a staff in the left hand, circular text surrounding on the outside border of the coin and two stars appear on the face of the dollar as well. The backside of the coin depicts a conglomeration of objects on the coin, a Palace, Hula Girl, Surfer Boy, and a Tower to the outside edges with a state shield in the center and text to each side of it.
