The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads What a glorious morning for America, 1775, 1642, 1713, Gamb. Farms Lexington April 19th, Lexington and the reverse text is Centennial Celebration of the Battle of Lexington April 19, 1875. The front side of the coin shows a man holding a shovel and a horn with mountains in the background and a shield shape surrounding him. Outside of the shield is text and a reeding texture. The backside of the coin depicts seven total lines of text all centered on the medal.
