This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-323a

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Malleable Nickel First Produced in 1865 by Joseph Wharton S.D. L.L.D. and the reverse text is American malleable Nickel St. Louis Exposition International Nickel Company 1904. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a single man facing the right side of the coin with circular text surrounding his head. The backside of the coin depicts text and flowers in the center of the medal with text surrounding to the outer edge.
