The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Souvenir Breakwater 1933 Santa Monica, Calif and the reverse text is Souvenir from California’s Playground Ocean Park L.A.R.S.CO. The front side of the coin shows a pier shown in the center, which looks more like a rectangle on this illustration, with boats above and waves below, a small star sits to each side to separate the outer text on the outside border of the token. The backside of the coin depicts a makers mark at the bottom of the coin, a female sun bather sitting slightly above with the pier in the background, the females head rests on the left side of the coin and her feet at the right side of the medal, text surrounding.
