The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads 1915 San Francisco the Exposition City, SA and the reverse text is Commemorating the Opening of the Panama Cana, A.P. Stake Copyrighted. The front side of the coin shows a female sitting in the center of the medal with her hand lifted up towards the sky, a bear appears from behind her and a branch is held overhead, the city is in the background with the text located at the bottom. The backside of the coin depicts two nude nymphs sit in the water that makes up the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, near the Gulf of Mexico, the map of the United States and South America is positioned below with a banner overlaid on the map.
