This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-427

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Panama California Exposition San Diego 1915 and the reverse text is Panama Canal Opened by S.S. Ancon Official souvenir Aug. 15 1914. The front side of the coin shows Uncle Sam standing in the center and facing the right side of the coin with a map of the United States and South America positioned behind him, an axe in his hand and circular text surrounding. The backside of the coin depicts a boat, the S.S. Ancon, sailing down the Panama Canal with water below and text arching above.
