This Token Came From – Baltimore, Maryland
The obverse text on the token reads “Chas. W. Hamill & Co. MF. Silver Plated Ware Liberty.” The reverse text on this token reads “150th Anniversary Baltimore City October 1880.” The obverse depicts the classic Morgan Dollar obverse design with a bust and text surrounding in place of the typical stars. The reverse of the token shows a monument in the center with text surrounding and the date below.
