The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The World’s Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893 and the reverse text is The Electrical Building 345 ft. wide 700 ft. long, cost $401,000. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Columbus in the center and facing the left side of the coin, a wreath surrounds him and the text surrounds to the outer border of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the center with a pond below, text describing the cost and size of the building is listed in three lines at the bottom of the coin.
