The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Chicago, Columbus Tower, Height 1500 ft. Cost $3,000,000, World’s Fair 1893 and the reverse text is Annual Interstate Souvenir, Chicago Exposition. The front side of the coin shows flowing a decorative text to either side of the large Columbus Tower in the center of the coin, the date located at the base of the tower. The backside of the coin depicts four total lines of text, two at the top and 2 at the bottom surrounding the image of the buildings at the World’s Columbus Expo.
