The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Panama Pacific International Exposition Tower of Jewels and the reverse text is Panama Canal Completion Exposition San Francisco, 1915, The Gustave Fox Co Cinc. The front side of the coin shows a new view of the Tower of Jewels in the center with text above and the beaded border surrounding, text above and below the image. The backside of the coin depicts a boat in the center making its first passage through the Panama Canal with steam coming out of its stack, the date is split to either side and text surrounding above and below.
