The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The Ferris Wheel, One of the wonders of the World, Height 264 feet, weight 8600000 lbs., capacity 2160 people Childs Chicago and the reverse text is OA, Horticultural Building World’s Columbian Exposition. The front side of the coin shows a Ferris Wheel in the center with a listing of all of the specifications of the new Ferris Wheel invention. The backside of the coin depicts the Horticultural Building in the center of the coin with a dome and flag on top, arching text listed above and a single line of horizontal text appearing below the building.
