The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Pacifica Sterling and the reverse text is Golden Gate Int. Exposition 40 1939. The front side of the coin shows a head in the center with tribal text written above and a Hawaiian or Pacific type design surrounding the head. The backside of the coin depicts the Golden Gate Bridge in the background of the main Exposition building with the city shown in the background as well, text arching above to close the design in.
