The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Libertad and the reverse text is In commemoration of the meeting of the Presidents WM. H. Taft and Porfirio Diaz Oct. 16, 1909 at El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico. The front side of the coin shows the Presidents of the United States and Mexico in the center facing each other, surrounded by a wreath that turns into shaking hands at the bottom of the coin, text above. The backside of the coin depicts decorative and descriptive text running down the center of the back side of the coin.
