The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Golden Gate International Exposition 1939 San Francisco Bay Pat D-110016 and the reverse text is Treasure Island. The front side of the coin shows a more worn down version of previous designs, with the building and bridge illustration in the center with the sun in the background and text around the picture. The backside of the coin depicts a plane flying over the island in the center with the sun setting over the bridge in the background, cities to either side of the water and sky.
