The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Hawaii the Aloha State In God We Trust 50 Star Flag Official July 4, 1960 and the reverse text is Hawaii Annexed August 12, 1898 Admitted August 21, 1959 The 50th State. The front side of the coin shows a female figure standing in the center with two flags crossing to either side of her, two lines of arching text above and a single line of horizontal text below, one line of arching text below. The backside of the coin depicts the Island of Hawaii in the center with text surrounding.
