Smith & Hartmann N.T. and the reverse text is The great International Prize Fight between Heenan & Sayers for the Championship of the World fought April 1860. The front side of the coin shows a portrait of Thomas Sayers facing the left with text above in an arching position. The backside of the coin depicts a wreath below with text in the center of it describing the purpose of the medal.
