By Oddehon St. Louis, MO. 1803 1953 and the reverse text is Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase. The front side of the coin shows three lines of text below the horse and its rider, facing the left, with a date over the rear end of the horse with circular text running along the outer border of the coin.
