This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-259

The reverse text is California San Francisco Midwinter International Exposition 1894. The front side of the coin shows a woman in the center holding a spear and clothed in armor. She has her left arm resting on a shield and a bear is laying beside her. In the distance there is a miner working by a lake, with boats on the lake, mountains in the background, and the sun rising over them. There are 22 stars arching across the top. The backside of the coin depicts the grounds for the Expo, with a large pillar in the center, buildings spread throughout, a palm tree to the right side, and lines of text above and below.
