The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The Great Seal of the State of Nevada and the reverse text is Virginia City Nevada, June 1959, Nevada Silver Centennial 1859-1959. The front side of the coin shows a banner below the illustration of the Nevada state seal, a miner, mountains, mining house and mining trestle in the center illustration with text surrounding in the outer border of the dollar. The backside of the coin depicts decorative text on the outside edge of the coin with three lines of text in the center and decorative separators near the date at the bottom of the dollar.
