This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-611

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Height 110 feet, The Soldiers and Sailors Monument New Haven Conn and the reverse text is Erected to commemorate the Services of her sons in 4 wars, Dedicated June 17 1887, G E Fownes NY. The front side of the coin shows a monument in the center stretching from the bottom of the coin to the top of the coin, circular and arched text surrounding to the outside border, still within the beaded border. The backside of the coin depicts decorative text in the center, all with a slight curve to it and a pointed triangle border surrounding.
