This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-264.
The obverse text reads “1837” and the reverse text reads “Feuchtwanger’s Composition Three Cents.” The obverse of the token also has the new eagle design in the center, and the reverse shows the wreath with surrounding text.
