Hensley S.E. 1939 New York, 1853 Philadelphia 1876, 1926 Norfolk 1907, Charleston 1901-02, Chicago 1893 1933-34, Buffalo 1901, Omaha 1898, St. Louis 1904, Nashville 1891, Atlanta 1895, New Orleans 1883-84, San Diego 1915 1935-36, San Francisco 1894 1915 1939, Portland 1905, Seattle 1909. The front side of the coin shows a gate in the center with its doors opening to the viewer, a tower in the lower center of the gate and ships in the background, stars surround the gate and the text is overlaid.
