The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The land Divided, The World United, Panama Pacific International Exposition San Francisco 1915 and the reverse text is For North Carolina Exposition Fund Esse Quam Videri, Robbins Attleboro. The front side of the coin shows a large ship in the center with rays of sun coming from behind it, the ship is sailing towards the viewer with a banner of text below and above, a thick border encloses the surrounding text with a beaded border to the outside edge. The backside of the coin depicts two figures, one standing and one seated, in the center, hands on the staff and text surrounding in the large border.
