The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads State of Oregon, The Union 1859 and the reverse text is Panama Pacific International Exposition Oregon State Building San Francisco, 1915. The front side of the coin shows a crest or shield in the center with an eagle perched on top and a horse and wagon in the center. Stars surround the shield and text appears to the outer edge of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the center with traditional Roman columns and flags down the length of the building, text is below and wraps around the entire coin.
