The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The land Divided, The World United, Panama Pacific International Exposition San Francisco 1915 and the reverse text is For South Carolina Exposition Fund Dun Spiro Spero, So Carolina Anivis Opibusque Parati. The front side of the coin shows a ship in the center facing the left side of the coin with a banner above and below, text surrounding in the wide border of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts two long ovals standing in the center, in one oval is a lady figure and in the other oval is a palm tree, text surrounds this state shield and branches are at the bottom.
