The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Pedley-Ryan & Co. Denver and the reverse text is One Ounce Silver 90% Fine. The front side of the coin shows two lines of text in the center describing the maker of the dollar, with no border to the outer edge of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts three lines of text in the silver telling the amount, the type of metal, and the purity of the metal.
