This Token Came From – James Watson Hardware Store

This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-421.

The obverse text reads “James Watson Philadelphia North Fourth Street 11” and the reverse text reads “Importers & Dealers Foreign & Domestic Hardwar And Cutlery.” The obverse of the token shows an anvil with circular text surrounding, and the reverse has a saw with words written across, above, below, and around it.
