The front side of the coin shows a scene of two female figures sitting in the center holding gears and wheat, an anvil and hoe sit near their feet and plants surround the figures up the side of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a banner over the top of a bird in the center, possibly a pelican as it is a variation of the state seal, scales above the birds head and text surrounding, birds in the nest below.
