Value of 2012-P $1 Trade Routes Native American Dollar Coin

The 2012 Trade Routes Native American Dollar boasts a wonderful design of an Indian and Horse on the reverse. The Indian and Horse are both facing towards the left, and in the background there are horses running across the plains. The Native Americans maintained widespread trade routes for more than a millennium. These trade routes evintually led to the passage into the Western United States by the settlers. While the design is intricate and beautiful, this coin will likely never be worth more than its face value. Some of the contributing factors to its worth are the sheer number that were minted and the fact that they have no precious metal content. Don’t be fooled…even though these coins look gold, they are, in fact, only copper coins.
