The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition Seattle 1909 and the reverse text is Chief Seattle W.H. Seward Father of Alaska, Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition N.C.W. & S. N.Y.. The front side of the coin shows three figures in the center having a discussion with two figures facing each other and the remaining figure looking forwards, text surrounding and mountains in the background. The backside of the coin depicts a curtain being drawn to the sides with two busts at the top of the banner and a figure in the center mining for gold, the setting sun is in the background of the coin with a beaded border.
