The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Confederation and the reverse text is Struck to commemorate the visit to the United States of officials of our allies, M. Rene Viviani, Marshal Joffre, Vice-Admiral Chocheprat, Hon. A.J. Balfour, Maj. Gen. Bridges, Vice-Admiral De Chair, Lord Cunliffe 1917. The front side of the coin shows an altar in the center surrounded by 13 stars in a circular pattern, an eye at the top with a banner below and clouds above. The backside of the coin depicts eight lines of text centered with a flower at the top and a single star at the bottom, circular text surrounding.
